The 2012 Kidding Season Will Be Here Soon! Taking reservations now!
Sales Policy: We require a $50 deposit in order to hold an animal, this can be a check or cash. The difference is then due upon pick up and must be in cash. We also accept PayPal but a 3% fee will be added to the price of an animal to cover fees. At time of pick up all goats will have their hooves trimmed and will have been disbudded and wormed. We practice only holistic animal care and use a weekly herbal wormer on all of our animals. All of our kids are dam raised unless there are circumstances that prevent this. Our kids are friendly as we spend a lot of time with them from birth forming a bond with them. They climb all over us and love human interaction.
Please if you do not already have goats please do not purchase a single goat it is highly recommend that they have at least one friend.. Goats are highly social animals and will pine for a companion which is very stressful on the animal and in the long run will have an adverse effect on their health.
We are breeding for milk production as we believe Nigerians make the perfect
milkers for the homestead. Their butterfat content is high and they produce up to a quart a day. We milk once per day and let the kids take care of the rest. This does not give us the most amount of milk but it is healthier for the dam and the kids. It is also easier on us since we only have to milk once! All of our goats are tested annually for CAE and every three years for everything else. Our herd is CAE free with our annual testing scheduled for March 2012.

Matthew 21 Ellie Walker
Ellie is a 2nd generation Mini Mancha Doeling and will be registered with the MDGA. She has elf ears, is very dairy and from strong milking lines on both sides of her pedigree. Her grandam Pattie has been on extended lactation and has been in milk for over 395 days! Her sire's dam has earned her AR from the MDGA and is an exceptional Mini Mancha doe. Currently her dam Bella is milking out nearly 2lbs each milking at 6 weeks fresh. For a first freshner this is excellent and we couldn't be more thrilled.
